I have taken them back. it was one of the quick clamps and it snaped in my hand. took it back and upgraded to a bar clamp no problem

I know I could use a lot more clamps.  I have 2 each of the 6", 12", 24" bar clamps and 2 of the 4' clamps all from Harbor Freight. and the few that I do have I use all over the shop.  When I do glue ups I have to go and snag them from what I use them for every day.
It would be nice to walk in and wipe Harbor Freight out like that.

Roy Underhill has been a major inspiration to my wood work. His show and the New Yankee work shop came on back to back in the 80's on PBS and you could bet that I would be right there in front of the TV every sat to watch them

this is a very neat joint.  Roy Underhill has been doing this for a very long time.  He made a mallet that uses 2 of these joints. Very cool

Hass avocados are the Big Ones Right?  Hate to see something like that go. You cant even find the big ones in the stores anymore.
