I know what you mean. That's the reason, why I used some ajustable legs for the little cabinet. Even if you get it straight on a flat surface, it could wobble in the tiled floor.

Here is the latest project.

I build a cabinet for the guest toilet. It is made out of 19 mm bamboo. I applied linseed oil as a finish.

Pino is the short for Pinochio .
Graupe is a nickname for an ugly horse . A Very good friend is teasing my girl friend with this nickname.
My girlfriend tought it would be funny to have this nick on the sign.

The cats love it.

Hi,
I wood like to share my last projects with you.

I have build a cat furniture for our two little ladies. It is made of 19mm MDF and I used biscuit joints. The round part is 10mm bendable MDF.
I covered it all with carpet. The holes between the differnet levels were made with a pluch router with a compass.

The name sign was made from beech and I engraved the letters with the dremel. The edges were routed with an ogee bit. As finish I applied just some oil.

Hi, my name is Dirk and I#m from Germany.

I started woodworking some years ago. My first project was a flower bench for our old flat.

The last two projects were a cat furniture and a name sign for a horse box. The name sign was made from Beech and I encraved the name with a Dremel.

The next project will be a cabinet for under the sink in the guest toilet. I will make it from bamboo.

The only problem is my workshop......... I don't have one. I just store my tools in our little guest room and I work outside, when the weather is good enough.

That's all for now-
 Dirk

inperfection can add some charme to the objects. Today I've seen a table made of recycled teak. The top of the table felt very rough, but it also felt smouth. Sounds weird, I know. With this deep structur, it looked like an 100 year old table.
