I know what you mean. That's the reason, why I used some ajustable legs for the little cabinet. Even if you get it straight on a flat surface, it could wobble in the tiled floor.

Dirk,

The end tables turned out to be harder to build than the coffee table itself.  Had a hard time getting the tops leveled and the tables from wobbling.  I was about ready to put a book of matches under one of the legs....but I got it all worked out.  They are finished and was planning on putting them in the house this weekend.  I will take some pics tommorrow of the set in good light.  Overall it was a good project and im pleased with the outcome.  Thank you for your interest in my project.

Here is the latest project.

I build a cabinet for the guest toilet. It is made out of 19 mm bamboo. I applied linseed oil as a finish.

Woodworking Tips / Tricks / How To Fix A Not So Good Miter Joint
« Last post by Summers Woodworking on August 06, 2012, 07:45:10 pm »
What you need is Wood Glue, Screwdriver, and 200 grit Sandpaper. Carefully widen joint a bit and on the outside corner of joint rub wood glue into joint and use the round long side of screwdriver to rub the two pieces together for a couple of minutes Then when glue gets tacky... start sanding the outside of miter joint to allow the dust to mix with glue, and wolla you will never see the wide open joint no longer. :o
