Lathe Steady

The Lathe Steady I made for my son Marc's Rikon mini lathe.
Made for 2 layers of 1/2" MDF for the body, 1/2" MDF for the spokes, and 3 layers of white oak for the platform.
The wheels came off an old pair of inline skates the I don't use any more

I've seen lots of homemade and commercial steady rests but none, until now, that would merit the term Work of Art!  Simply awesome.  Looks loke it would outperfom the $150.00 one I bought recently  >:(

Walshjp17. Wow Thanks for the complement on the lathe steady. This is the best looking jig I have made so far and you saying that it looks like a work of art, Wow.  Thank you
